After a day of photo ops and spiking the football on the one year anniversary of the death of Osama bin Laden, Obama decided to deliver another propaganda message to Americans. He declared that troops with stay in Afghanistan until at least 2014, despite the death of Bin Laden, and no clear goal on what “victory” means. Obama proudly proclaimed that not only would negotiate with terrorist group Taliban (or as he calls it, the “Tolly-Bahn”), but Americans will remain in Afghanistan beyond 2014 to help “train” Afghan troops. It’s likely under Obama’s, Americans will remain in Afghanistan (under a non-combat role) through 2024. Remember, this is Obama’s good war, he said so in 2008.
