Forecast Shows Split Senate

Posted by on Thursday, 17 May, 2012

Nate Silver updated his Senate forecast and concludes “the most likely outcome” to be Republicans winning 50 seats, Democrats 49, and Angus King (I) the seat in Maine. Under those circumstances, the Democrats would retain control of the Senate if King caucused with them and President Obama won re-election, making Vice President Biden the tiebreaking vote. Otherwise, Republicans would control the chamber. However, the range in the forecast is from Democrats winning 55 seats to Republicans winning 56 seats.

Johanns Blasts DeMint for Meddling in His State

Posted by on Thursday, 17 May, 2012

Sen. Mike Johanns (R-NE) told Politico that Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC) “did more harm than good by investing seven figures in a conservative candidate who finished a distant third in the Nebraska GOP Senate primary.” Said Johanns: “The question I’d get asked as I get around the state: ‘Who is this guy and why he is spending this money to elect people in our state?’ … I just think it was a poor choice of strategy. I don’t think they understood the state. People hate that kind of stuff in our state, and so they recoiled, they looked for an alternative.”

Left wing loons burn Scott Walker yard signs in Oak Creek Wisconsin (Video)

Posted by on Thursday, 17 May, 2012

Personally, I’m not surprised by what the fascist left wing loons and union goons anymore. After what i’ve seen over the past couple of years, especially in Wisconsin (and with Obama’s occupiers) this seems mild. Of course if any tea partier were found burning signs of a Marxist Democrat candidate, the media would be in full meltdown mode and the FBI would probably be investigating by now. If the candidate was a minority, the piggish left would  be screaming for hate crimes charges. The left is really getting desperate. It’s pretty obvious by now their recall effort against Scott Walker is going to be an epic failure, just like their attempt to win the Wisconsin Supreme Court and flip the state Senate months ago. This state has not voted Republican for president since 1984, yet Mitt Romney is currently tied with Obama in the latest Marquette University poll . So what does the left do? Revert to their usual tactics of vandalism and burning yard signs in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. For the second straight day, police took calls Tuesday, May 15th from people reporting their “Scott Walker” yard signs had been burned. It happened overnight in Oak Creek, after happening early Sunday, May 13th in Fox Point. Jerry Wille stands with Gov. Scott Walker, and is not afraid to show it. His yard sign, along with at least three others were snatched overnight and burned in the middle of the street. Other neighbors wonder whether the culprits are political enemies, or just young people looking to cause trouble. “It’s kind of irritating that people stoop to this kind of stuff. It’s just a sign, but on the other hand, it’s kind of bullying,” Wille said. “It seems like when the weather gets warm, kids get anxious. We’ve had cars egged, and we’ve had ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise — anything you can put on cars to peel the paint off has been on cars in this area,” one neighbor said.

They are the 99 percent! Obama’s budget goes down 99-0 in the Senate

Posted by on Wednesday, 16 May, 2012

If Mark Kirk had been in the Senate and not recovering for his severe stroke, it would have been 100. But the joke of Obama continues, as his budget is voted down 99 to ZERO in the Senate . This comes weeks after the budget was voted down 414-0 in the House. If you combine the two votes this year, Obama’s budget has been voted down 513 to ZERO. Not one Marxist Democrat would vote for Obama’s budget. If you combine last year’s 97-0 NO vote on the budget, Obama is losing 510 to ZERO. Back to the minors Obama. But i’m sure it will be the GOP’s “obstruction” that will get the blame for this. What an epic failure Obama is. Senate rejects proposal based on President Obama’s budget plan 0-99. — Scott Wong (@scottwongDC) May 16, 2012

JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon has had at least 18 visits to White House since Obama regime began in 2009

Posted by on Wednesday, 16 May, 2012

Obama loves to bash bankers, CEOs and “Wall Street Fat Cats.” Obama refuses to bash JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon though. When he appeared on The View, he praised JP Morgan and it’s CEO Jamie Dimon as ”one of the smartest bankers we got.” Of course Obama and Dimon kiss each other’s asses because Dimon and JP Morgan is a huge donor to Obama and the Democrats. Jamie Dimon loves Obama because most of the so called Wall Street “fat cats” and CEOs are actually progressive liberal Democrats. And Obama just so happens to have a $1 million “checking account” with JP Morgan . All just amazing coincidence. i’m sure. It seems though that Jamie Dimon and Obama are even better buds than first thought. According to Future Of Capitalism – Jamie Dimon has paid AT LEAST 18 visits to the Obama White House since 2009. White House visitor access records show at least 18 visits to the White House by Mr. Dimon during the Obama administration. The most recent disclosed visit, according to the visitor access records on the White House site, appears to have been January 21, 2012, when Mr. Dimon, accompanied by his wife Judith and daughters Julia, Kara, and Laura, attended a White House holiday open house. Mr. Obama’s relationship with Mr. Dimon had been the subject of press scrutiny even before the disclosure of the trading losses. In a January 26, 2010 press briefing, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs was asked, “what sort of message does it send that on Friday the President — last week the President says he’s fighting against Wall Street, but then today he has Jamie Dimon here for lunch as part of the group of six CEOs.” Mr. Dimon, again accompanied by his wife Judith, was a guest at President Obama’s January 19, 2011, state dinner for the president of China, Hu Jintao. Politico’s Josh Gerstein has reported that in 2010, Mr. Dimon had “a one-on-one with Obama in the Oval Office.” Campaign finance records at the Federal Election Commission show Mr. Dimon gave $2,000 to Mr. Obama’s Senate campaign in 2004; $2,000 to the campaign of future Obama chief of staff Rahm Emanuel in 2007, $28,500 to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee in 2007, $10,000 to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in 2006, and $4,600 to Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign in 2007. He has also given to the campaigns of some Republican senators, including $2,000 in 2009 and $2,000 in 2010 to Rob Portman, a Republican of Ohio; $2,000 in 2007 to John Cornyn of Texas; and $2,500 in December 2011 to Mitch McConnell, the Senate Republican Leader.
